The Honorable High Court of Jammu and Kashmir had issued a Recruitment Notification and invited applications for the post of Reader.Applicants willing to apply for Reader Jobs in J&K High Court must submit their applications in the prescribed format and application form on or before 30th January 2012

Post: Reader.

 Pay-Scale: Selected Candidates for the post of Reader in J&K High court will be given salary on Pay-Salary of Rs 9300-34800 + grade Pay Rs 4800/-

Number of Vacancies: A total of 5 vacancies have been advertised, by the J&K High court, but it is clearly mentioned that vacancies may increase or decrease.

 Who is Eligible to Apply for Reader Jobs in J&K High Court ?


 Applicants willing to apply for Readers vacancies must full fill the below mentioned Eligibility Criteria in terms of Age, Educational Qualifications
  • Educational Qualification: A Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University in India and approved by Bar Council of India.
  • Age-Limit: Applicants applying for the post, must meet the Upper Age Requirements as  specified for the Government Jobs in Jammu and Kashmir.
Selection Process: The selection process for the recruitment of Reader in J&K High Court shall consists of Written Test and followed by viva-voce.

How to Apply ?


 Application fee: Applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs 300 in the form of a Demand Draft favouring Registrar General High Court of Jammu & Kashmir payable at Jammu.

Application Form: Applicants are required to apply for the Reader Jobs by using the prescribed format. The Application form, cane be obtained from the Statioary OR Photostat Shops

The Duly filled in Application form, along with two Duly attested Recent Photos, Demand Draft and photocopies of Academic Qualification Certificate, Character Certificate and State Subject. must be sent at the below mentioned address personally before 30th Jan, 2013.
  • Jammu Division:- Office of the Registrar Judicial at High Court Jammu
  • Kashmir Division:- Office of the Registrar Judicial High Court Srinagar
  • Leh and Kargil:- Office of the Pr. District and Sessions Judge Leh
